New Features in SureThing v5.0

• Preview files before opening them. SureThing v5 files now include a preview image. The icon for your file will show the design, and the File > Open dialog displays previews of your designs.
• Friendlier "New Project" window makes it easy to select the right template. Choose a specific template from an intelligent 3-column sort: media types > manufacturer > label type. Or click one button for all your common project templates.
• Intelligent CD playlist import. Just insert the CD, click a button and the software will attempt all methods available to get your playlist.
• Display playlists any way you want. SureThing v5 offers increased playlist flexibility and compatibility with iTunes and other music players.
• Support for high resolution printers. We've improved the printing engine to support the higher resolutions that are now available in the latest photo printers.
• Use iTunes collages on your disc labels. Improved compatibility with iTunes album art makes it easy to add a collage of cover art.
• Workflow enhancements. Dozens of changes to the controls and functions glide you through important tasks. Plus, there are a lot of little touches thrown in that make a world of difference when it comes to day-to-day use.
• Add Barcodes to you labels. The new Barcode tool makes it easy to add industry standard barcode to your designs.
• New and Friendlier SmartDesigns. We've added new SmartDesigns that show off the new transparency options, which are very cool. It's now very easy to deal with complex or photo backgrounds. Plus you will never lose your formatting options when switching backgrounds.
• Expanded print options. All of the template and printer options are available at print time and can be easily changed from one template to another. You no longer have to specify the label type when you initially create a design.
• Use any type of Playlist field. The playlist fields are now universal so it no longer matters whether you are importing audio or data playlists... they'll just work.
• Hassle-free printer drivers. No need to setup driver options for CD printer jobs. SureThing v5 is ready to use right out of the box.
• Customizable interface. The new themeable interface lets you give SureThing v5 a new look whenever you want.
• Adjustable CD/DVD inner hole. You can now adjust the inner hole size from the Page Setup dialog box. Especially useful for Direct-To Disc printing.
• Quickly find the perfect background image. The improved background and SmartDesign browse functions help you find the right design fast.
